 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.  On January 7, 2025, our lives changed forever when our home in Altadena burned to the ground from the Eaton Fire. As thousands of survivors from Altadena already know, the nightmare had only just begun as we navigated through the financial reality of rebuilding.

My spouse and I researched affordable building companies. We almost went with a larger corporate company; I’m so thankful we hired the local company, ATP, to rebuild our home in Altadena instead. The larger building companies were not interested in a partnership or creative solutions; ATP was. My spouse collects antiques and we have vintage lamps that we want to install into our new home. Al Penaranda said: “That’s great! We can easily install your lamps into the rebuild and they will look incredible.” This was when I knew we had found the right company.

Al Penaranda and partner, Sergio Alvarez, have created ATP into a top-notch local company in Pasadena that has made the rebuilding process creative, unique and totally professional. Our family knows we are in strong, capable hands that can rebuild our new home. Our new home is being built in the Spanish Revival style popular in Los Angeles in the 1930s. Not only is our new house coming back, it is going to be more safe, beautiful and unique than our original home was.

It has been a delight to work with ATP’s creative team whom I would describe as not only builders but artists.  Picking out tiles and researching Spanish Revival architecture that will reflect the vintage vibe of the 1930s has been a joy after the heartache of losing our home in the fires. I can’t wait until the electricians hang my vintage lamps!
